Both quilts are beautiful - I'd say you're off to a great start quilting - your work is beautiful.

Nice job Jackie! Yes, you do quilt! I applaud you for doing so much applique. I'm weary of it. So I avoid it at all costs! Welcome to the quilting world! Yes, our day job supports our therapy!

Your first quilt, wow! When I think about the first quilts I made, they were very simple patterns I didn't attempt appliqué until many years later. You did a great job!

Both quilts are just gorgeous, and so. . . much better than that rag I called my "first quilt". If this is your beginning point, I can't wait to see what you are doing in a couple of years!

I think your first quilt is great, you did an awesome job. Thank you for the pictures. Just set aside a few hours a night, and you will have another one finished in no time. You are always supposed to have time for what you love.
