    Wonderful quilt & story! I would also go for the sewing machine. You will appreciate it after sewing all that denim by hand!

    Welcome to QB! Losing weight is wonderful and hand-quilting is a very special talent! You are so fortunate to be able to do that. The quilt looks cuddly and what a wonderful way to use old jeans. "Waste not, want not." Way to go! Hope to see more posts of your work as you do it.

    Get a machine. You will really love one and itcanbe a reward for all of those lost pounds. What a life change for you and your wife. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
