Really? Same fabric? I'd love to see it! Flannel sounds like a good way to go for the backing also. I chose this fabric and started the quilt for my 4 year old grand niece. She loves orange and loves polka dots. My relationship with my niece has become strained (families can be like that, can't they?), so now I want to finish this one and hold onto it and see what happens. The plus is that it really has been a good learning experience.

Frustrating isn't it when you expect things to be squared and they're not. Even so Your quilt is very pretty, colorful and sweet. Congratulations...your back idea sounds good to me.

Looks like a quilt I would make. I have that rainbow and daisy fabric! I think it turned out happy and fun and you should be proud! Congrats on finishing the top!

I think you did a great job, uneven seams and all. Never would have noticed it ...It's a cheery quilt and will bring warmth during the approaching cold months.

Very pretty top. The polkadot fabric will be perfect for the backing.

I love the colors. It looks like summer and sunshine! The orange polka-dots sounds good for backing. Even if you are thinking of it as a learning process quilt, it is the first quilt you will ever make and so plan to use it and enjoy it. Finish it in a way that you will be able to do that and not hide it away, even if it's not perfect.
