    I finished made these yesterday . My first time making a set of potholders. What do you think?

    good job what did you use for batting?? the binding is single edge??

    I used 2 layers of insul-bright for the batting and the binding is a strip of scrap fleece that I hand sewed to both sides and made the loops too.

    You can't tell in the picture but the fabric has faint blue sparkles in it.

    Yes insul-bright works very well so far as I've heard this is my first time using it too.

    They are a present to put in a basket from my youngest daughter's first grade class to a nursing home. I hope they will like them.

    Very bright & cheerful fabric.
    Red binding really makes it, wow !!
