    Hi everyone,
I just finished some new pot holders for my kitchen. I have made these many times, but, I always give them away. So... This is my set.

The leaf one is a tutorial from our links part of the board. It was fun to do and I have five more to go to finsih the rest of them ... LOL!

I used warm and white and Insulbrite in them. And quilted the fabrics before assembling them. You slip your thumb and fingers into the side pockets on the hearts.

Thank You quilt4u and sewjoyce. I know, I never seem to get around to me. LOL! Although I bought patterns for mumu's to make for next summer.

I have five purses to make and then I will do that for me.

    Thanks ninnie and bill's wife!

If anyone else does that tutorial, I think they forgot to mention that you stop short of the center by a quarter inch with your seams, so the seams can swirl in the center and it will lie flat. Sew from the outside into the center, and press the seams going up on one side and down on the other so they nestle to match up the seams while sewing the last center seam.
It is something about coming from a russian blog. They didn't explain all that part, you just had to know it.

    What darling pot holder's!! :D I
can see why you are keeping
them for yourself. It's so easy
to give them away, but we need
    to keep some for ourselves!!
    :D :D :D :D

We sure do sulabug! Mine were embarrasing hubby has begun cooking and he doesn't know how to treat them ... LOL!
I wanted to try that tute anyways, it looked like fun.

The heart ones were a pattern from the quilt shop. Really a nice pattern and pretty quick if you don't quilt the fabric first. But tey old up better tis way, trust me I know.

Thanks for the little sweet comments, I do realize these weren't anything great.
