    the way it is.I like mine to protect couch from puppys or forpicnic blanket.I almost got shot with one pair of blue jeans I
    put in it.It was a pair of my hubbies old jeans that my son had gotten big enough to wear.he asked were they where an I started pointing out squares in quilt .son wasn't happy with mom.

    Do you sew an X in the center? It is beautiful. I have made a couple baby quilts in this manner and they do go up fast. HARD on the hands with the clipping, for me.
