I'd use strips of your fabric for the binding. Just sew the different ones together into one long strip and sew it on. Try not to have a joined seam at a corner tho. You might want to lay it on to make sure that won't happen before you start sewing it on. Good luck. This sure is bright and pretty. Who wouldn't wake up with a smile after sleeping under this quilt?

I often use pieced bindings with all the leftover fabrics from the quilt (something I learned from my momma). If I'm attaching it and realize that a joining seam is too close to the corner I just cut off about 3-6 inches and re-join. I use different length to begin with so it never stands out if I have to do that.

I love the quilt! I am a blue person so I would use the light blue for backing and binding!

This hanky, panky quilt is even worse than the one I just finished. I need a break.

I made a smaller version a few months ago. It's hanging in my entry hall. I used a bright single fabric for the backing. Pieced backs make for more seams. I find the seams get in the way of the quilting.

I love your colors. Very bright.

Here's mine.
