Thread: My latest quilt

    I took a class and the instructor had some kits made for us. I never would have chosen these colors myself, but I love the way it turned out. (It is orange, but might look like red) We used Eleanor Burns method of log cabin. It was a beginning class, and I think I am more towards intermediate, but, I met some new friends, and it was so enjoyable to sew together. And my self diagnosed adult ADD didn't even kick in!!

    What a great quilt!! I like the colors that were chosen. I am going to be making a similar quilt for a friend.

    Yes, that's good advice. I'm going to try and think outside the box so to speak, more often!!!!

    Very pretty! Love the main focus fabric. The green goes perfectly.

    That's pretty! I am really liking the quilts I see with a nice large floral border. Really a nice finishing touch for the log cabin squares.
