I absolutely love the way you tied the yellow print with the black border with all the colors in with the strip colors. I would have never thought about using black like that. The borders really bring out the center! I have a hand quilting book that said if your quilt pieces are squares or straight rectangles, then any quilting in swirls (like stipples) will bring out the colors, and if your quilt is rounded, like applique, then cross hatching will bring out the applique work. I think stipple would be beautiful with maybe cable quilting on the borders. And, I love the yellow of the inner border. I would use that color for the backing and a very slim binding, too. I would even get wild, and use bright yellow quilting thread on the black border! It would really pop out at everyone, especially if it is for a child. Well, I hope I helped, I have gotten into using more than one or two colors with my quilting, lately. :lol:
