Love the quilt!! I have seen quite a few leaders and ender quilts and keep thinking to myself that is something I should be doing.

[QUOTE=BrendaK;6475109]That is beautiful. I love it. All the fabrics go so well together. How did you go about getting enough scraps to make something like this? Did you purchase extra fabrics with this quilt in mind?
This quilt is made completely from scraps. When I am cutting other projects and I have pieces left over, I often will cut 2-4 1/2" strips depending what I have left over. Anything less than a fat 8th I sort by color. If it's a fath eighth or more it goes back in my bins sorted by color. I sew/quilt almost everyday. Every project generates more scraps. I have strings and strips sorted by size. It's great to be working on a project and go to a bin and find a fabric that works with the current project. Like I said, I love scrappy.

What a gorgeous quilt! I love it, and I love scrap quilts.....always my favorite! I just recently learned about "leaders and enders" and have started my own project sewing a bunch of 2.5 inch squares I had on hand, into 9 patches. It's such a great way to use scraps and get two things going at the same time!! My kind of sewing. Love you sewing space, too!!
