    Out of around 25 quilts over the past 3 years, these are the only 2 that ever got photographed before they got given. Somehow, I keep forgetting ...

    Patrice, They are not only covers, they are also toys. What baby wouldn't be entertained with those bright colors? They really look great. Keep taking those pics! Betty 8)

    I love baby quilts they are so bright and loving. These are turely beauitful and a new idea for me. I have babies coming out of my ears lately. Was running out of ideas thanks for the new one.

    The character blocks came from a couple of pre-printed fabrics for making little girls' sundresses. The shops usually sell out of the skirt fabrics before they do the bolts of bodice patterns. The bodice fabrics end up on sale dirt cheap. The big red circles are machine appliqued over the blank spots where you'd normally have cut out the armholes.

    how ingenius you are I looked at the pic and thought the red circles were part of the pattern. Very nice job. I never would have thought of that
