Oh my gosh, I have tears in my eyes too. What a lovely memory. The quilt itself is so gorgeous as not to be believable anything could be that gorgeous, but then it has this lovely memory. Sorry to your Sis too. Thankfully it is only the very end of June and you have some time.

That is the sweetest story to accompany the quilt. Good thing you chose a more muted color scheme, right? Beautiful work and you know that he'll cherish this quilt forever.
