Such beautiful blocks....it would be a shame to let the sashing take away from the beauty of them. Your signature line says it all, Go Shopping!

Oh dear, I'm going to step out and say I love how your blocks look on the assortment of colored fabrics. I'm not sure chevrons is the best choice, once you strip them and sew them in alternate directions around your blocks, but I like the changing colors of the proposed sashing. It feels unexpected and somehow modern, or at least out of the box. It's your quilt. If you like it with chevrons, use chevrons. I'm not a fan of sampler quilts, but adding an unexpected or modern element makes it more appealing to me.

Pretty little blocks! Though I think the chevrons are a bit too busy, and detract from the blocks. Could you use a solid or such, and maybe do chevron corner stones-?

Looks like you're keeping up with the blocks and they look wonderful. I am missing a few since I have been on vacation for 2 weeks without a sewing machine... I'll have some catching up to do.

I love the blocks! Very cute! I agree with everyone else on the sashing though. You sure don't want to take away from all of your beautiful little blocks.

Wonderful blocks! I'd use natural muslin for that old-timey feeling and to show off all of that work. Great job!
