    Very pretty!
Don't you just love that block? It is the one I used for the first quilt I made in recent years (and first one I did completely by hand and all by myself).

I do love it- very fast and easy to cut, and fast and easy to piece. I would never have thought to put it together with no sashing but I saw it done that way in a magazine, and really liked it.

Great way to use up scraps, I love the old fashioned look to it.

There is an easy way to make this block with 4-patches. I call it the Disappearing4Patch. I make it with 5" strips or 5" charms. Two 5"xWOF strips yield four 8-1/2" finished blocks.
