When making a quillow with my granddaughter, she picked this fabric I had bought from Goodwill. {because there was a bunch of it and it was cheap}. We made fleece flowers and attached them to the pillow part. I had her quilt around the flowers on the pillow part. The piece was big enough for the front back and the piece that makes the pillow. It had enough color in it that it did not need to be pieced! It turned out pretty good. It kind of grew on me.

Wow - those flowers made the fabric look good! Talk about a silk purse out of a sows ear - you sure did it.

I think that is gorgeous. I probably wouldn't have bought it, and now that makes me rethink what I would have bought!
I love your flowers.

I would have NEVER bought that fabric, yet I love your project! It just goes to show that some people are good at seeing the final project in their heads. Great job.

It looks adorable. Plus your grand-daughter will have memories of making it with you. She will never see it as ugly.
