    I don't know what twilling is either but it sure is beautiful. It looks like you make 2 alternate seams and pull a colored yarn through it. It's beautiful whatever it is.

    Oh...that is beautiful. And thanks to the person who posted the link of what twilling is. I had no idea either but it could be something I'd like to try someday

    Twilling is an embroidery stitch, some call it double knot stitch or palestrina stitch. It is not like candlewicking. It is done with pearl cotton thread. I saw it at a quilt show and had to find out how to do it... I bought the kit at Bits and Pieces Quilt Shop in Eudora KS. www.eudoraquiltshop.com It is a neat shop.
