Love this applique top. As for the border, personally, I would go for the 6" border with the circles ...... but thats just me.

I would not add a border, just a binding. Red and white stripe on the bias, perhaps?

Their designs are so cute. Good job on it. There are ideas on Pinterest for borders. I do like the circles but maybe you are done but it seems to add to the applique centers. It will be pretty
