I think I'd add some sashing between the blocks.

I like it, great scrappy quilt. I would sash it, maybe using the lighter yellow fabric (?).

This is my vote also. Since it is for a baby, I do not like the idea of black and if you do not know the sex, you can not use pink. I think a pale yellow would be really nice.

Oh my gosh this is beautiful!! I love the bright and cheery colors :) I think it would look good either way but think a sashing would separate and define the blocks a bit. Pink would look nice or maybe another color that isn't in the quilt? Anyway that you do it will be gorgeous. Please share pics when it's done.

I just realized it is for a baby and you don't know if it is a boy or a girl yet. Maybe a bright fuscia? Or mabye moving some of the blocks with the yellow towards the center of the quilt and use yellow?

I love the bright colors. And I think you could go both ways with this. With or without but my choice would be the sashes.

What great bright colors for a baby. I would use a sash and border of the same color. I like the idea of black but not so sure that would work for a baby. Nice job.

After looking again, I really agree with using the fuscia color that is in each block for the sashing and outer border. This would really separate and bring each block together at the same time.
