    Default My Yard Sale Find

I got this quilt today from a yard sale. it's an 88 by 105 and although it's just blocks sewen together and tied it's just stunning. The guy at the yard sale said his mother made it for him and he sold it for 20.00?? Unreal.

So sad he did not want the quilt his mother made him, but lucky for you. The quilt is lovely.

Yes it is sad, but I love it. It's plain but yet stunning and sure her hear & soul was into it as well as lots of love. I wish my mom had quilted. I will make sure all me kids have one from me.

Love it! What a treasure for you; a loss for him If they only knew all the love that went into making it!

One man's "junk" is another man's treasure. I'd say YOU got the treasure

I'm amazed at the ppl who sell quilts from family, especially when they sell them so cheaply. But I suppose their loss is our gain!

So sad he felt the need to sell his quilt. Breaks my heart that he didn't appreciate and love it. So glad you were able to rescue it and give it the proper home!

How heartbreaking that he would give this up . . . and for $20 no less!! The quilt is very nice and lucky for you that you have it now.
