I haven't done many quilts, but I did a lap size with a Hobbs 80/20 fusible batting and have since given it away, but had fairly dense quilting on that one too, and don't remember it being as stiff as this one, so I was thinking of trying it again, non fusible of course on a big one like this. The other one I hear a lot about is the Quilters Dream line and also thought about adding a thin layer of wool, like a split bat. Thank you for your comments and suggestion.

It has a nicer drape to it than the Warm & Natural. Washes up nice. The one I kept for me that has the Hobb's is my favorite, most comfortable quilt. I used Quilter's Dream a couple of times and loved it, but sadly, it's way out of my price range. The Hobb's is very reasonable. I usually buy a few at a time from Connecting Threads when it's on sale for $13.99 and get the free shipping. Michael's sells it and with a coupon is just over $10...but the one near me never has it in stock when I'm there.

I love the quilting throughout, but I absolutely LOVE the border quilting!!! Holy cow, that is impressive!!!
