I like the first one better, with the lighter look. The darker pink is too much contrast and looks like it doesn't belong. Just quilt the white spaces with a pretty pattern and that will make it pop. If that's what the recipient requested, I wouldn't worry about it and keep quilting. I think it's beautiful.

I think it depends on what the customer wants. I like the medium pink myself.

My thoughts too! I like the mid pink best. JMHO

I like the addition of the darker red as well. Give more pop to the quilt.
