I don't have advice on how to quilt it...I'm still a baby quilter and haven't ventured away from straight lines. lol

But that sure is pretty! I'm sure whatever you do, it will turn out gorgeous!

LOVE your quilt!

I started one a while back and haven't finished yet. I did do a table runner "prototype" though and am pleased with the quilting on it, so plan to do the quilt the same.

I was pretty new at doing FMQ feathers, but it turned out OK, I think.

Here are a couple of pictures:

This is a shot of the back of the braid so you can see the quilting better

and here's the center. I think you can see the general idea... I did some feathers all the way up each side of the braid and some stitching (not in the ditch) with the walking foot.

You can never go wrong with stitch in the ditch, at least every 2 to 4 inches. This would not take away from the beautiful color graduation. It is just lovely....
