Agree--available in long pieces for you to finish, this is printed to look quilted. Huck toweling is still available as yardage.
Look pretty as slip covers for kitchen chairs? Table runners, too.
Huck towels (blue or green) are also used in surgical packs that are sterilized at a zillion degrees with high atmospheric pressure...bottom line is they are very sturdy

It would also make a nice tablecloth, the lines were made to sew around, as in quilting lines. If you put a very thin layer of batting under each flower, etc. and hand sew on the lines, they would puff up a bit. Same for dish towels.
It is happy and pretty fabric. By the colors, someone bought this a long time ago.

To me it looks like dish towel fabric, especially with the short width and the edging. I think it is similar to pillow case tubing that my Mother would buy to embroider pillow cases. This is similar in that I believe it is to make dish towels. Now how about that for a nice, concise description of what you have recently acquired. (See I can be as confusing as the next person.) lol

I have a vintage/ antique table cloth that looks exactly the same (material wise), except it has a yellow/ white checkered background with bright flowers...in the same reds and blues. I would say kitchen cottons :) It's cute as a button!
