Default New finished project "SPRING JUST AROUND THE CORNER"

Hi! I made up the name; just wanted to share my very first paper piecing and also first machine quilting. I took a paper piecing class last Sat. (Didn't know what the project was going to be; or I probably would have taken a darker contrast for border and maybe a fussy cut for centers) Oh well, here it is. Thank you Country Bumpkin; Eugene, Or. Great instruction! I am excited with this method; my next bed size quilt will be almost all paper piecing. Thanks for looking.

This is beautiful. I love the soft colors, wouldn't change them for anything else.

So soft and pretty together. Not everything has to have slam bam contrast, IMHO. I like both.
