How fun! Your hubby mist really enjoy eating on your new tablecloth if he like Charlie brown. This will make a lovely tree skirt.

I too use quilts for table cloths and people have a fit thinking I'm ruining the quilt. Obviously I don't serve spaghetti with it on and we don't have small children but when it gets soiled I just throw it in the washer and it's good to go again. I really like the weight of a quilted table cloth. It stays in place yet it isn't so thick that you can't set glasses on it without them tipping over. I like how you did yours with a wedge. Very nice.
