I like it how it is now. With your plant on top it makes the red in your quilt pop out. I think it could be used all year long especially with holidays like valentines, labor day,the 4th of july,memorial day and xmas. Just change the topping accent (i.e. the plant etc ) and off you go.

I like it, and I like it a lot! It is very pretty and festive and colorful and certainly looks like a Christmas runner to me. You made it, and you say you really like it, so leave it on your table and enjoy it. It just can't matter this time what others think :)

I think it's a very nice table runner, on your very nice kitchen table, in your very nice kitchen, that you probably clean and cook in....So if it was up to me...I would keep & use it!

I love the quilt and agree it can be used year round. When I use my table runners I usually put a clear platic table cloth over it because I'd hate to have it ruined. I don't usually like to wash my table runners and wall hangings.
