I love the color combination and pattern. May not be really Christmas, but everything you put out doesn't have to be. Keep it.

Could you put a piece of clear plastic over it. It is pretty. It looks black and red and white on the photo. Is the black actually green. Just because it is green and red, it doesn't always look like Christmas so use it throughout the year.

It's perfect...I am guessing your DH & kids are non-quilters so what do they know *L* I say use it and enjoy it...that is what makes us all individuals...we don't always like the same things..You did a great job on it..
Keep it in your sewing room and hang it on the wall so you can enjoy it..

I love these colors together. I would love it for Christmas also. Putting a Christmas flower on top (flower in a pot or vase), and there you go. I also learned from my daughter in law to use more things that are pretty for Christmas like snow men that can work all winter, because we have snow all winter. That is one example. So these colors are so pretty for Christmas, but also different which is nice for a change, and sit some little Christmas y thing on it or the Poinsettias.
