I had a pro quilt my first one with gold thread in a beautiful leaf design. I'd like oak leaves to go with the autumn theme, but will have to see what is available. I wish I could quilt it myself but I'm not THAT confident yet. It's coming though. :)

I finished the strips today :) I am soooo happy with the results. Now to choose the borders and what I am going to do with the corners. Somehow I am going to incorporate the fall colors into oak leaves and satin stitch them to opposite corners. Still thinking about that one. I'm just very happy to have this part done.

That is sooo pretty! I love the fall colors. It would be out of myrealm as well, but i may have to try something different. :lol: :lol:
