Be thankful .... no one ever wants to "borrow forever" a broken umbrella, even if it's raining ....

No beauty, no temptation ...... If you think about it, you used the right bag for the right occasion ...

But for other occasions, move yourself to the top of your list and make yourself a bodaciously beautiful one .... you'll feel glad you did

I used to have a stained glass business and how much do I have from that? Nada, Zilch, nicks none for me. I did the same thing with quilting until my husband told me he wanted quilts for us and our home. Imagine that I thought. So now we do have quilts for us. I also have a mitten business and people bought my mittens right off of my hands until I said to a lady one day...these are not for sale  I made her a custom pair.

It's ok to make your self a gift too once in a while. We all give you permission to treat yourself. Please post a pix when you do so we can all ooooo and aaahhh

I love these new WalMart bags and have a couple I use regularly. They are much more attractive and durable than those ugly flimsy black ones. I carry my knitting in one all the time. Thye also hold also of fabric.

I made everyone in the family "Snap Bags" (they have carpenter tape in the casing). The golfers got little ones made with "golf tee" fabric. I still have not made one for myself!

Well, I can relate. I had to go help a girl with her quilting, and loaded my quilt supplies into one of the printed fiber bags with cereal ads on it! lol
I make quilts and blankets for Project Linus, mittens, rug mugs, and everything else for kin and friends, and I make do with a Walmart blanket on my sofa.

Momma used to say, "The cobbler's children have no shoes."

Can I make you one? Really I would love to if you would like. I have made many quilts (simple ones 9 patch etc) for other people and charities, but when my wife got breast cancer in Feb 2011 I asked if anybody would make my wife a quilt for chemo ( I offered to pay for it to be made)the angels on this board and took up the torch I got so many replies they finally had to close the post and low and behold in about 3 weeks this big box came and it had a beautiful quilt for Cathy from board members from all over the world, AND there was a quilt for me. I was just overcome. I HAD NEVER had a quilt made for me. So you might say I am in debt to my angels on the board. So if you would like I will make you one.
