I like the triangles better. The solid between the obw blocks makes them so much easier to see. Makes all the work you have done stand out better to me.

OBW is One Block Wonder. Maxine Rosenthal has written 3 books about this technique. The whole quilt is made from one fabric.

I like the blue triangles also. What is the name of your daylily fabric? Daylilies are my favorite flower, I have tons of them.

Apparently carhop, dunster and I are the only 3 that like the original OBW. I always thought the OBW was to be made with only one fabric - when you introduce another then it is no longer an OBW. The OBW is designed to allow your eye to feast on all the beautiful hex's with nothing to pop out at you - just a beautiful experience. Only my opinion.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Looks like I'm cutting some more blue triangles. I"ve got another fabric to use for OBW that I think I'll be more successful with.

Ugh! I totally forgot I have this book on the shelf! Pulling it out for more design ideas. Thanks for reminding me.

UFO is unfinished object...as in starting a new project while still working on another one makes it become a UFO of which I have about 5 or 6. :D
