It's not quilted yet, and it will be a tad smaller after quilting. I think it looks great!

I have a book, "Patchwork Minus Mathwork" by Linda Causee that has a chart for quilt sizes. A twin size quilt with an 18" drop is 75" x 103". I wouldn't worry about it. I have noticed that all the newer mattresses have more depth than the older ones do.

Is this going to be way too huge for a twin bed? Should I take the border off and try to trim it down? ahhhh I hate this... I don't know what I did wrong. I made sure all my blocks were 10.5" so it must be the border.
    he'll love it! :-D :-D :-D

Get him a full size bed! Maybe that will solve the problem for years to come. LOL

My kids seam to want larger beds when they get older.

He will be able to use it as he grows taller not as a
bed quilt, but as a throw. I think the size will be
    perfect.

really? It won't hang off his bed on the sides? I don't want it dragging on the floor....
A suggestion: Try using risers for the bed rather than ripping out. It's lovely just the way it is.
What a great idea.I have the risers on my bed to store more treasures underneath!!!

It will tuck under his pillow. Big is better than too short. A small amount will shrink up with the quilting. And depending on the batting you used, it may shrink a little. Don't fret. My great neice's was 98 x 98. She loved it.

    Done is best.
