OMIGOSH - whatever was I thinking

Your quilt is amazing. I have admired this quilt one or two other times on the quilting board and yours is no exception! I'd love to make one someday, but I have more to learn on getting a better 1/4 in seam first! Congrats on a beautiful quilt!

I love this quilt - and the one that inspired you. BUT I know that I will never have the patience to make one!
As for quilting suggestions, I would keep it simple so as to not draw attention away from the beautiful piecing. Maybe diagonal cross-hatching. Or even plain straight of grain-of-grain cross-hatching following the main lines of the blocks. Don't drive yourself nuts with the quilting - and, for goodness sakes, don't try to stitch in the ditch!

That's amazing for two such fun blocks to turn into such a fabulous quilt.
