    Great Job. You know, most of life is like that. We're afraid and intimidated by what we don't know - and then we try and are successful. Aren't you glad that you took the first step? Our quilting teacher always tells us to look at the quilt and find "the block".Usually the block is simple, and looks complicated when they are put together.

    Don't know who wrote this, but it works for me.

    Half square triangles are the BEST! Your horizon is much wider now. Congratulations. Confidence is really nice, huh?

    Definitely a big deal milestone. One that I've just recently sort of passed...but need more consistency! You won't lose your points like I do sometimes!

    Good job! I know what you mean about having the confidence to try more complicated blocks. I'm always afraid the seams won't match. Your block looks very well matched.
