I just pulled this out of the dryer and before it could even cool I threw it on the ground and pulled out the camera!

I started Working on this the other day(9.6) when my iron decided it was going to iron heaven!

when I started it had three lines of useable quilting. I took the line going the other way out and also another line that was there from when I originally started quilting it. I was going to cross hatch it but then I decided to just sew diagnal lines 1" apart, then I decided I couldn't stand to look at the quilt long enough to do them 1" so I did them 2" apart. I sewed three lines and couldn't stand looking at it any longer so it sat for oh...a year! but here it is done and hopefully going to my g-mil this weekend! I might have to wrap it up and wait for Christmas though! lol

thanks for looking and reading my book.

Very nice and I love the back - that block in the center is way cool. I like to throw things like that into my quilts too!

Nice job, I love your colors. One UFO down and how many to go? (At my house there are too many to count!)

This looks like a pretty big quilt! The colors are lovely! Doesn't it feel good to finally finish a project you've been putting off for a long time? Somehow they get bigger while they're waiting for your attention!

thank you everyone for the super nice comments. I am SOOO glad that it is finally done! I have one other UFO (haven't worked on it in several months) but I have three WIPs (I have worked on each of them within the last month)!

Shanon, the pattern is "Flower Patch" by Kim Schaefer for Fons and Porter's Easy Quilts Fall 2008

    Thanks again everyone!

ONLY one other????

WTG for finishing this one, though. I love the colours, the quilting is perfect and the extra block in the back is a great touch - may have to pinch that idea at some stage... :D
