    This one's for me!

Well I finally finished this quilt for our bed. I used a pattern from Moda Bake Shop called Eydie' A"s, which used only one jellyroll for the 16 patch blocks. The fabric I chose was Together by Moda. I really am pleased with the way it turned out. Thanks for looking.

Love this quilt. When you said 1 jelly roll are you saying that that is all it took to make all of the blocks? How big were the squares, the final blocks? My husband would also love this quilt. Thanks for sharing. BrendaK

    Very pretty!!

Question ... where were you when you took this overhead picture? Hanging from the ceiling fan?
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

A jelly roll would make the center of the blocks - the 16-patch portion. You'd then need to add for setting triangles (16-patches are on point) and sashing.

Here's a link to the free pattern @ Moda Bake shop: http://www.modabakeshop.com/2011/12/...lly-quilt.html

Thanks, Brenda for posting this - I think I'm going to add it to my (long) list of quilts I'd like to make. I have a couple of jelly rolls that I never know what to do with.
