I'm working on a baby quilt. After is it sewn together it will be 36 X 54. Do you think that's too small?

The way I look at it is that once the child gets a little older, it could very well become a quilt to cuddle. So, no, I don't think it's too small.

Very pretty! I don't think it's too small, but if you do then you could just add a little border around it.

beautiful. love the colors. and the pattern is very nice. there are no quilt police here. if the size pleases your eye, then it is a good size.

It's very pretty. I don't think it's too small, but if you're worried you can add a border. I really like the pattern.

    Beautiful quilt. I love it.
If YOU feel its too small then make it bigger LOL

I am still looking for these set rules people keep refering to ....size, color, how many borders, ect......

Personally, I think it's a good size. Babies should not sleep with a lot of bedding because they can become tangled.... so this would be a good size to cover but not smother!!!

There's a great link to some standard sizes. I found it helpful when deciding the sizes for my daughters' quilts....

Sounds like a good size to me. It'll be twice the size of most babies. So, there's plenty to cover up with. It's very pretty too, by the way. :D

This is a quilt as you go method? I personally don't think it is too small. And it sure is pretty with the blue and yellow.

Quite pretty and I think it's a good size, too!

From observing my one grandchild and his mom,
one needs several sizes for different purposes.

Great job! It's just the right size for the child to drag around without doing much damage when they start walking. If it doesn't get loved to death before they are that old.

    Thank you everyone.

Yes, it is a fun and done, kinda winging it, I don't have a pattern, just trying to use up some of my stash.

Thanks Pea Soup for that website.
