    Uh oh, I'm on the other side here. I think the charm squares are too big of a "blank" area with the smaller, very busy print of the quilt. If the charm pack pieces were smaller, I would like it better, but I think it competes with the quilt in the standard size. I totally agree with taking out the black as there isn't any black in the panel and it does look harsh.

    you asked remember I would use a small black border and then all the squares it would really make the center pop however its totally up to you anyway
