    Not my cup of tea but if you are an OSU fan, maybe?! My husband took a featherweight that was destined for the junk heap and transformed it into a beautiful swan. He cleaned it all up, made sure it sewed again, then painted it with Chameleon car paint. As you move past it, it turns from blue to green to purple! It really gets comments when I take it to a sewing class, let me tell you!

    I like it and the price is cheap, I have seen the colored ones for up to $1500. There are lots of the repainted ones out there!
    I am looking for a red or purple one and I will use it right along with my black and white FW's

    OH MY GOODNESS THEY DESTROYED THAT COLOR ON THAT MACHINE IS PERSONAL OPINION.I KNEW A COUPLE PAINTED THERE ROOF ON A TRAILER THAT SAME ORANGE PAINT.NO ONE EVER GOT LOST AGAIN LOL.
