The colors match and its contrasting, it's really lovely...I really do like it..I was admiring it before I even read your post

Your pillow shams contrast so nicely with the quilt. Your "mistake" is just the right touch. The shams and the quilt make quite a statement together!

That is beautiful! And I agree that the contrast is just right, otherwise it would disappear against the quilt.
