I miss snow, but only when I think about being a kid again. It's beautiful. Too bad it has to be cold out, and the stuff messes up the roads, etc. We might be getting some tonight, actually - a rare occurrence around here. It's been sleeting on the south side of Houston today.

Oh goodness! Lots of snow. Are those African Violets in your window? I love African Violets. My Mama used to have them all the time. Different colors.

Wowsa! We're getting off easy here in Montana. Cold, but only a couple inches of snow, which is nothin' for us. I want a BIG snow storm! Would love to have a couple feet.

After all the hype about the snow storm of the century, I feel cheated. We only got about 7" and that's not even worth mentioning. I would have liked about 1 1/2 feet. Oh well maybe next time.

I have been quilting, and watching cars slide off the highway here in N. TX. for three days. Ours started Monday night, with high winds, and ice pellets, then turned into snow. Down about 6 degrees, and windy, and ice crust on top of the snow. More snow coming tonight and tomorrow. Nothing like you got, but we don't have the equipment for it, either, so until it melts, which may be Saturday, we are just basically deadlocked. High of 16 today, so nothing melted, and the sand blew off the roads. Businesses and schools closed, and even State Troopers sliding into ditches when they go to assist with wrecks.

Sure hope that woodchuck in PA wasn't pulling our leg! :?

Looks like here too.. We are still snowed in.. Roads really crappy.. 4 inches of ice, packed snow then covered with another layer of ice.. And no school again tomorrow..
