Package for Great-Niece and her soon to be here little sister

It is so much fun being a Great Aunt. When I heard that Sezja (my first Great-Niece) was going to have a little sister soon, I started sewing up a storm.
Mom had told me that the new little sister's color was purple so that gave me a good start.
I gathered up a bunch of purple fabric, and got started. When I was finished the quilt just didn't look right. It was pretty, but not cute enough in my eyes for a sweet little girl baby, so I decided to applique the lamb on it. I wasn't sure how it would work, but I love the end result. Of course I had to make a couple of things for the "big" sister so she wouldn't feel left out (mermaid and pink hooded towel).

The dolls were made with a Dolls and Daydreams pattern from Dollsanddaydreams.com. Great patterns, easy to do.

Gee, These are so professional looking! You must have a great embroidery machine.
Love them all and I am sure the little ones will too.

They are wonderful! I always think it is so sweet when an Auntie makes something for the older child. They like to be included. The mermaid is adorable (I have some of that same fabric in blue). These will be very much loved.

Very cute, I like how you used the save fabrics on the dollies to match the quilt.
