I like the California flower garden the best. The other flower garden is beautiful as well.

The Spring show this year had all the dogwood trees blooming at their peak. Usually their peak is before the show. Come and join us in 2019! The vendors and the instructors are outstanding and you can add to your stash!
My girlfriends and I hope to accept your kind invitation next spring. We are thinking of meeting at one friend's home in Missouri and then doing a road trip to Paducah. If not in the spring, definitely in the fall!

They are so fun to look at and admire. It has been a while since I have been to a major quilt show.

Thank you so much for posting this awesome quilt show! I would like to know how the feathers on the flamingo were done.

Oh my gosh!! Could never pick a favorite. Just mind-blowing. And the pink bird....I could just 'feel' the softness of the feathers. Amazing!

Quilts 1 and 6: I did more research and found that these two gorgeous quilts by Ginny Eckley and Susan Ennis are silkscreened and painted! Not couching, as I had first thought. Many people at the show were staring at them closely, trying to figure out the black lines. Who would have thought they were silk screened?!

Many of the quilts in this show were painted, and many had lots of crystal embellishments. They were really closer to paintings than bed quilts. Quite something to see.
