    Great quilt and thank him for his service. The Vietnam Vets rarely get that said to them, especially when they came home. My DH served then too.

    This is my generation of soldiers so I have a lot of vet friends from this war and do a lot for them...The vet this is going to was in the Air Cavalry and was shot down, permently disabled. He is the organizer for his troops reunions, which I go to every year. He has never received a Quilt of Valor. What? Knowing all he went thru and all he does for other vets, it's his time... Please, thank your husband for his courage and service for me.

    I have this panel. Now I am afraid to work with it. I might slice and dice it so it doesn't have to be square. We had a speaker @ our guild meeting that did this and made a fabulous quilt. Your's is beautiful and worth all the fabulous work you did!!
