Exquisite 38th Anniversary quilt, it was well worth redoing!!! You do such fantastic work and I enjoy looking at all your fine quilts!! Thanks for sharing the pattern!

Thank you. Only the first one took 38 years. The other two each too about 18 months as they are twin sized. The first is a queen.

All are so pretty, glad you finished it. I don't worry about what others thinks, a quilt can be anything between a whole cloth quilted and one with lots of little pieces put together and quilted . I've never met anyone that has said anything but, a whole bunch of great compliments.

You are so right on that. Quilts go in every and any direction depending on the ecomony, time of the quilter, skills and desires of the quilter and they all work. One of the things I've learned over my 46 years of learning to quilt is that unless you are entering your quilt into a juried show, there are no rules other than what is important to you. If you enter a juried show, then one would be wise to learn the guidelines and try to meet them. My judges are my family who are the recipients of my quilts. Praise from others is a good thing, that's for sure; but my blue ribbons truly are the smiles on the faces and the sparkle in the eyes of my children and grandchildren who treasure and use my quilts. Thank you.
