I agree. Your fabric selection makes this quilt sing with happiness.

That's a great quilt - it must be feeling good to have it finished

I love the combination of PP and applique. Your colors are striking.

Simply stunniqng. I have the pattern for her double wedding ring quilt. I am not doing it exactly by her pattern, I have never paper-pieced. I have my strips ready to cut out and just got my center material yesterday. So I am ready to start cutting. My only problem is on the way home from the fabric store and just around the corner from my house, I saw a lady walking her dog and trying to hold him back from 2 little kittens. So, I just had to stop. She told me she heard them crying from a block away. Of course, I just had to rescue them. I have 2 adult cats and a dog, that were not to happy about this. Neither was my husband. It was only 13 degrees here at the time. They are eating dry cat food, drinking water and using the litter box. But, one thinks that the little moles on my neck is his mother's teat. Ugh! We will be taking them to the no-kill shelter today or tomorrow. Just want to make sure they are OK, first. They are so lovable. Hate to give them up.
