    How nice that you will have this picture and the memories. My mom was a seamstress for many years and we do not have one picture of her at her sewing machine. Now that she's retired and we're reminising, I miss not having a picture of her at her machine.

    That is so sad. Even if you have no picture, maybe you could make a quilt that would reflect your feelings about her, and cherish that. (this is to the quilter who lost her
    grandmother to the Holocost)

    What a wonderful picture, thanks for sharing with us! The quilt on my avatar is a family tree I did for my parents Diamond Wedding Anniversary the photos were transferred onto fabric which my husband printed on computer (don.t know how! not very computer savvy!!) The quilt was done in 2000 and the photos are still ok. It is certainly a talking point among visitors so is well worth doing!! That photo would look fab as a wallhanging!

    You are so lucky to have this great memory picture. She must have loved to quilt to be able to do so many. What great mamories for her extended family.
