I saw a whimsical quilt once that had a bunch of them hanging from the bottom of the quilt. It was cute; not my style, but cute. I could see it making an interesting baby mobile.

Here are a couple that I've done recently, The red one is a table cloth my friend made and I quilted for her. She doing five for her daughters for Christmas. I made a scrappy baby quilt trying to stay with light colors. And the green one if for a green quilt my nephew wants... just one block here.
I've got boxes of scraps and just don't seem to find time to work with them. I just can't give them away or toss them. Love scraps!
What can I say? Crazy for Scraps?

My friend made this, I quilted it for her.

    Well, Crissie!
You have done a great job with scraps!
That table topper is quite attractive - - must be the red <g>
Is the green quilt going to be easy to do, trying to find anything and everything green? Sounds like we may have to do a swap for you <g>
The baby quilt looks like you used 2.5" blocks and strips ... is that correct?
really interesting how turning the blocks one way and the other way makes for a very complicated pattern, isn't it?
These are things I like about quilting ... the angles and the colors.
    Thank you for sharing! <wave>

Wow--I've loved looking at all your scrap busters!! Just beautiful. I can't wait to work with scraps more--I have, um, a LOT. :D Here are some blocks I made a while ago from extra strips...need to make lots more and put them together. Some day.

A friend fell in love with this one--so I gave it to her.

ahhh, barnbum .... those are WONDERFUL scrappy projects ... just simple little strips, with a zinger strip in each other ... they are GRAND!
I am running out of adjectives, dear quilters ... it just tickles me to think of how much inspiration is created when someone takes scraps and actually show a product anyone would LOVE to give or receive.
    what is that saying:

When life hands you scraps ... make a quilt!

    we are DOING it! :!: :!: :!:
