Pictures of scrap blocks

I don't know about the site or her kits, but I might suggest that I have seen a similar technique, using foam insulation board, a kitchen butter knife, pieces of scrap fabric. You draw the pattern on to the foam board, score the foam with a knife, maybe half an inch deep ...
then, lay the fabric over, use the butter knife to push the fabric into the crevice, and voila! a quilt without stitching a thing!
I have seen also that people have taken the round styro foam balls and other forms, wreaths ... topiary trees ... and done the same thing. It is quite a versatile technique.

So, I wanted to keep you apprised of my progress ... here are a couple of pictures of the scrappy quilt I am joining together. Hopefully, you can get an idea of how I am using the bridging fabric to fill in gaps.
This is where I decided it would be better to NOT build the quilt from the top down! This technique is best accomplished in sections

It looks like I may have to add even more blocks, eh? Not to worry! I have lots left in the box!

After months of being stashed in storage, finally came up with this table runner to practice my machine quilting skills.
