    "pirate's map" shadow box

Size:  1.70 MBMade for a baby shower for this afternoon. Thought I would toss the picture onto the QB while I googled directions there. LOVE using this pattern. I have two more planned with very different fabric.

    Very cute. I think the pattern is great, too!

    Love your pirate map Shadow box! It is a really great pattern for showcasing a special larger piece of fabric.

    I bought the pattern so I can't really help with finding a free version. It is very simple and fast to make. I cut and pieced it in about 2.5 hours.

    It amazes me how with the right fabric choices (such as yours) this pattern just stands off of the quilt-it's very effective!

    While I am AWFUL at drafting patterns, if you look closely at the blocks, they look pretty easy to figure out. It looks to me like it's just a square framed on 2 sides. But, like I said, drafting is hardly my forte.
