Default Playing with EQ8!

From time to time I love "playing" a little bit with my EQ7/8 program, no things too complicated...
This time I only wanted to see how a block looks like with different colors!

And then I needed some very simple 15x15 cm blocks, especially the measurements for cutting:

The program gives me very odd numbers for cutting: 7-3/5 cm.... I have to convert it to decimal numbers!
I think sometimes it is easier to work with inch!

all nice. but decimals are easier to convert... for instance change that 3/5 to 6/10 and you quickly get 7.6cm

Thanks for sharing that. I just bought that laybrinth star pattern and I was wondering what I could use in my stash that would set off the pattern. It's a manly pattern, but it has to be the right colors. I've got EQ7 and EQ8 but have no skills in playing with them. You look like you are well on your way to understanding them.

If you go to file/preferences/measurements you can change EQ8 from centimeters to inches.

Pretty blocks and colors are great, too. I play with EQ7 the same way now and then.

On your top set, try exchanging the white background with a third color; or, try exchanging the white with one of the main colors and have the second color as background. So many visions.....
